Inbound and outbound email has not been cut over after identifying and troubleshooting an issue after cutting over MX records to Proofpoint. We will continue to troubleshoot and schedule the maintenance window for a later date.

The ITS Security and Systems teams will be cutting over inbound and outbound mail to Proofpoint, a cloud-based solution. This will enable email to continue to flow in the case of an on-campus issue, and will eventually provide additional email filtering and security once features are enabled. An outage is possible for up to 30 minutes, but 2 hours have been reserved.
