Update - Disruption: Printing to Ricoh devices
Individuals on MacOS are reporting they cannot add the Brandeis Ricoh printers. In some cases individuals cannot print to these devices at all from MacOS computers. This affects a subset of individuals on campus. ITS has found a workaround by connecting to Pulse Secure (VPN) then adding a printer. ITS is currently investigating the issue and will provide updates as necessary. Thank you for your patience.

Monitoring - Users are reporting printing is working as normal, but some users adding printers for the first time on macintosh might still be experiencing issues. We are currently monitoring the situation.

Investigating - We are working on an issue that affects staff using Macintosh computers and printing to Papercut. This is related to a recent DNS change made on the network side. We are working with the vendor on a fix, in the meantime staff can seek out a windows based PC for printing until this is resolved.

Scheduled - We will be performing an update to the VPN (wormhole) at this time. This update is to primarily address a bug with browsing files shares with the web client. Users may experience intermittent connectivity from VPN connections during the maintenance.

Identified - The network registration system continues to be closed as ITS is actively working on the system. There is no impact to devices that have previously connected to the Brandeis network. Brand new devices that have never connected to the network are unable to connect to the network until the work is complete. We will continue to post updates as needed.

Investigating - Due to the planned network outage this evening, ITS will be freezing the network registration system at 9:45am. All devices that have previously connected to the Brandeis network will continue to work. Any brand new device that has never connected to the Brandeis network will be able to connect after the planned outage.
