While the network remains online and functional for the vast majority of the community, some may experience momentary losses of internet, typically lasting for short durations. Resolving these stability issues remains our top technical priority for our senior engineering team.

Update - We are currently continuing to monitor an issue affecting a small number of users on the campus wireless network. Devices may successfully connect to the Wi-Fi, but temporarily lack internet access. If this occurs for you follow these steps:
1. Wait up to 30 seconds for the internet connection to fully establish; or 2. Disable and re-enable Wi-Fi on your device. (Contact help@brandeis.edu if you need assistance)

During a performance degradation users can access the Tableau service, but some functionality can be unavailable or running at less than optimal performance. Brandeis ITS has been made aware of suspicious text messages being sent to members of the Brandeis community. These messages may appear to come from a Brandeis email address (e.g., Benefits@brandeis.edu) and often include a link to a fraudulent website. These messages are not legitimate and are part of a smishing (SMS phishing) attempt intended to steal login credentials.
How to Protect Yourself: Do not click links in unexpected messages, even if they appear to come from a Brandeis source. Verify the website address. Only enter your login information on trusted brandeis.edu websites. Delete suspicious messages. If you receive a suspicious text, simply delete it.
