ITS will be updating the VPN client (Pulse Secure) on Wednesday, Oct. 27 from 6-6:30 a.m. There will be a brief service outage during the maintenance window. For users of Pulse Secure, you will be prompted to accept the new version of the VPN client. Update - ITS has implemented a fix to address the issue affecting on-campus users' access to the campus network (this does not affect access via off campus). The team is continuing to review reports that some users in specific locations are unable to connect. Updates will continue to be posted as they become available. Monitoring - ITS has received confirmation that the vendor has implemented a solution to address the previously reported issue affecting the Campus Passport Portal. Investigating - ITS is aware there is an issue with the Campus Passport Portal where users encounter an error message ("The email address you entered appears to be invalid" when accessing the DHA or testing appointment scheduler functions. It appears that forms are submitting successfully, but the error prevents the user from receiving a confirmation page or email. If you see this error, you can return to the Passport home page or the history page (https://slate.brandeis.edu/portal/brandeis_covid19?cmd=history) to confirm your submission was received. The team is actively investigating the issue and working with the vendor of the underlying system (Slate) that is used for the Campus Passport. Updates will be posted as they become available. We apologize for the inconvenience.
