Network Authentication Servers (Clearpass) and Wireless Certificates - Emergency Maintenance Apr 7, 2026 07:00-09:00 EDT

ITS will be performing emergency maintenance to the campus network authentication servers (Clearpass) and Wireless Certificates on Tuesday, Apr. 7 from 7:00 a.m.- 9:00 a.m. The team will be updating the certificates to internal systems. This may prompt network connected devices to have a pop up about accepting a new certificate and users should accept the prompt. Campus Printing (Ricoh/Papercut) for Student Only - Scheduled Maintenance Apr 7, 2026 17:00-18:00 EDT

ITS will be applying updates to PaperCut printing solution, utilized by the large Ricoh MF devices around campus on Tuesday, Apr. 7 from 5:00 p.m. -6:00 p.m. This will only affect the STUDENT printing environment. During the update, PaperCut will not be available. Copy, Scan and Print functionality on all Ricoh MF devices will be unavailable. Any print jobs sent after 5:00 p.m. will not be processed or be available for release at a printer. Investigating - ITS is aware of an uptick in intermittent wifi connection issues on campus this morning. We are currently investigating the cause and working with our community and hardware vendors to resolve this issue as quickly as possible. Investigating - The ITS Netsys team is continuing our investigation into a limited number of reports of brief, intermittent connectivity issues affecting some users on the campus Eduroam Wi-Fi network. While the network remains online and functional for the vast majority of the community, some may experience momentary losses of internet, typically lasting for short durations. Resolving these stability issues remains our top technical priority for our senior engineering team.

Update - We are currently continuing to monitor an issue affecting a small number of users on the campus wireless network. Devices may successfully connect to the Wi-Fi, but temporarily lack internet access. If this occurs for you follow these steps:

1. Wait up to 30 seconds for the internet connection to fully establish; or
2. Disable and re-enable Wi-Fi on your device. (Contact help@brandeis.edu if you need assistance)
